Link Love

My new writers community group is in full swing, and it’s had me searching for great posts related to writing. Which of course led me to creating a Pinterest board to curate some of the fantastic posts, pages, quotes, and images I found in my searching. I also created am (in)courage group Pinterest board where the writers in our group have been pinning their posts, or whatever else they’ve wanted. It’s my first group Pinterest board, and it’s fun seeing what everyone else pins. (And I am so grateful to Alia Joy for letting me steal her groups idea to create the group board.)

Here’s some of my favorites from the week’s wanderings:

25 Writing Prompts. There are what seems like a million writing prompts online, but a lot of times they don’t feel like they relate to my life or circumstances, or they just don’t inspire me. These are fun.

20 Tips for Breaking Through Writers Block. Love this quote from it: “Often I feel such pressure and responsibility to write something, that it stifles my desire to produce anything.”

How I Wrote a Book – part one and part two. Both are good, part one is big-picture concepts, while part two has some of the specific details of how she wrote it (note to self: figure out Evernote.)

You are quite the curator! I’ve scanned through one of Tsh’s posts and look forward to the other. And the prompts too. Thanks for keeping things moving in the group especially when I was knocked out sick this week. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Love all of these, Sheila! Thank you for putting them all in one place. Pinned many things for coming back to… Thank you!

    • Thank you! I’m glad you commented, because it made me realize that I didn’t follow you on Pinterest, and that had to be changed. ๐Ÿ˜‰
