Reading Challenge Progress – March

2013 Reading Challenge ProgressTo keep on pace for the challenge, I needed to read two more books from my “To Be Read” shelf. And … I am surprised to report that I managed that!

Why surprised? Because February is a short month and some sick kiddos got my schedule off kilter a bit. Because I had an excellent library run in the middle of the month that led to me having a bunch of books that demanded to be read before they had to go back to the library. Because I’ve been extra busy with that writing group I’m co-leading.

I’d feel worse about both books I completed being children’s books, except that I know that I did make some progress in a couple of loooooong adult titles that I won’t finish for a few month. So I did do more reading towards the challenge, just didn’t finish any books besides The Legend of Jimmy SpoonThe Legend of Jimmy Spoon and The Stout-Hearted SevenThe Stout-Hearted Seven.

If you’re blogging about your progress, feel free to add your post link below – it’ll stay open all month. Or you can leave a comment on the post.

Link Up Guidelines:

  1. The link-up will stay up all month. The next link up will be April 1.
  2. Link the unique URL of your post, not your blog’s home page. Readers may view link ups months after the fact and you want to make it easy for them to find the relevant post.
  3. Please include the 2013 Reading Challenge Button (unedited) or mention you’re linking up to the 2013 Reading Challenge at The Deliberate Reader.
  4. Share your post and read and comment on those who link up.

Curious about what books I've read for the challenge? You can see them on my "2013 Reading Challenge" shelf in my GoodReads account. (You do have to be a member of Goodreads to see the shelf.)

Update: Because I can't get InLinkz to play nicely and display the links people have added, I'm listing them here:

  1. Ana @ The Chronicles of a Bookaholic
  2. Teresa @ Teresa's Thoughts for Today
  3. Adrienne @ A Suburban Menagerie
  4. Sarah @ Simply Sarah

  1. I just read 4 kids books, and almost didn’t count them towards my goal. But like you, I’m also working on some really loooooong ones too (1000 page, anyone?). Figured that kind of balanced it out. đŸ™‚

    • The one book I started is 960 pages. My goal is to finish it this year. Anytime this year. đŸ™‚

  2. Hey!
I’m all for counting kid books in a challenge! Way to go!
